Institute Distinctiveness
1. A remarkable differentiating factor for the college is its Community Radio Station, which has the approval of Ministry of Information Broadcasting, Government of India. The college has been sanctioned 90.8 MHz frequency for the transmission of programmes of general awareness and current relevance. Those programmes are created and broadcast by various departments of the college. This radio station has a range of about 40 Kilometers. Ours is the first college in the region to take the initiative of this unique venture. This radio station is a standing example of our ever-expanding infrastructural base and of our constant effort to connect meaningfully with the community/people.
2. In the beginning of each session, the faculty contribute a fund to help the poor and needy students. This fund is then utilized to help especially the girl students who came from poor background and face difficulty in continuing their education. Boys lacking parental support are also helped financially.
