“Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle and Gurmat Vichar Manch” is established by the department of religious studies in 1996 and 2002 . It is based on the Gurmat ideology which refers to the teachings and principles of Sikhi, as outlined in the Guru Granth Sahib, the central religious scripture of Sikhi. It emphasizes the oneness of God, equality of all humans, community service, and living a truthful and honest life. Gurmat also encompasses the guidance provided by the ten Sikh Gurus and is the foundation of Sikh philosophy and way of life. Gurmat Vichar Manch has signed a MoU with Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle to fostering ethics and values among students.
