Mata Jeeto Ji Girls Hostel
The Mata Jeeto Ji Girls Hostel established in 13 August 2013, inaugurated by jathedar Avtar Singh ji (Former Pardhan SGPC Amritsar) is located within the College Campus and is an integral part of the college. Mata Jeeto Ji Girl's Hostel seeks to serve outstation female students with a pleasant and comfortable stay. The girl's hostel also achieves the critical purpose of protecting the safety of its female students.
Well-furnished spacious rooms are available. Common rooms with LCD, table tennis court, carom board is accessible for recreational activities. Short one day trips are also arranged for the students.
Accommodation
All rooms are equipped with ceiling fans, electric lamps, study chairs, tables and beds. Separate fully air conditioned study room is accessible for the students. Residents are advised to bring the following items for their rooms: bucket with mug, a mattress, bed-sheets, pillows and quilt.
Objectives of the Hostel
To create an environment that is conducive to learning and help students to concentrate on their academics.
To give students access to all necessary amenities.
To observe the students adhering to hostel rules and regulations and to take actions or resolutions for any kind of in-disciplinary actions.
Maintain proper cleanliness in hostel area.
To ensure that students coming from different places learn to live together and strengthen their relations with mutual cooperation and goodwill.
To develop an environment congenial for various outdoor and indoor activities like sports, yoga, etc. in the hostel.
To ensure that the students are able to devote adequate time to their studies in the hostel.
To provide relaxation to the students through recreational facilities at the hostel.
To look after the day-to-day problems of the students and appoint the student committee member as floor in charge to supervise the activities of the students.
To provide medical support in any kind of illness in the hostel.
