Women’s Grievance Redressal Cell

Women’s Grievance Redressal Cell

A Women’s Grievance Redressal Cell has been established in the college to maintain the safety and security of female students and faculty members. The objective of the cell is to protect the females against any discrimination that can happen due to their gender. Besides this, the Cell also ensures zero tolerance for sexual harassment within the college campus. It takes care of all complaints of sexual harassment. If female students or female faculty members face any sexual harassment, they can file a complaint at our Women’s Grievance Redressal Cell. After thorough investigation and scrutiny, the members of the cell take the appropriate action against the guilty. In order to prevent such harassment, the members of the Cell use secret monitoring services, which keep a keen eye on the entire campus. To make the Cell more effective, a special complaint-box has been installed in Girls’ Common Room where girl students can drop their complaints if they do not wish to file complaints in person.

The Cell maintains the records of grievances, actions taken and the settlement of grievances. The cell is headed by the head of the institution and it consists of woman faculty members. The chairman of the cell convenes a regular meeting with other members of the cell and issues relating to females are resolved in these meetings.
